Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of client infrastructure, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving high-level technical and security issues.
- Provide proactive infrastructure assessments and optimization to align client businesses with the latest technology and improve efficiency and security.
- Perform security assessments, vulnerability management, and implement remediation plans to enhance client security posture. (e.g., SSP, POAM).
- Perform technical analysis and alignment with established best practices, including security frameworks (e.g., NIST, CMMC).
- Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and practices for client environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST, CMMC).
- Write technical documentation for existing and future clients, including network and security configurations.
- Provide scheduled and reactive onsite support for client locations, including high-tier technical support for complex issues and cybersecurity incidents.
- Conduct scheduled visits to maintain client relationships, perform assessments, proactive maintenance, security reviews, and resolve issues.
- Participate in after-hours and weekend support for 24x7 clients (monthly on-call rotation).
Required Qualifications:
- 5-10 years hands-on work experience as a Systems Administrator, with demonstrated experience in cybersecurity practices.
- Extensive experience with Hyper-V and VMWare hypervisors, including deployment, advanced troubleshooting, and management.
- Experience with Microsoft Server OS in an enterprise environment, including management, implementations into dynamic environments with various roles, migrations, group policy creation/management, and high-level troubleshooting.
- Experience managing backups in an enterprise environment, including local configuration from scratch, managing retention, consolidation, verification, offsite replication, and experience restoring production server backups.
- Experience with enterprise email solutions such as Exchange, Office 365, and G Suite, including migrations, maintenance, and high-level troubleshooting.
- Experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies, including firewalls, antivirus/antimalware, SIEM, and vulnerability management solutions.
- Ability to plan, configure, and deploy a high-availability infrastructure with security best practices in mind.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including VPNs, VLANs, firewalls, and general networking troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide range of clientele.
- Certification requirements, including maintaining CEUs to stay on top of the latest technology and security best practices (e.g., CASP, CISSP).
- Ability to develop and implement project plans, risk assessments, and contingency plans.
- Organizational skills to manage and complete projects of varying length.
- Ability to lift 50-100 pounds.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required, reliable transportation.
Compensation: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
